    Pros

The starting salary is great and the company takes care of you very well. The work environment is friendly and you learn a lot about the oil industry.

    Cons

Long hours of work. At least 60-90 hours per week.

  2. Coporate Bureaucratic. If you fit the mold then you will succeed otherwise you will be cut.

    Pros

One of the few companies left that has a pension. In addition with a 401K.
Promotions and to climb the corporate ladder is purely by your performance.

    Cons

The company I used to work for was bought out by them. If this happens to your company then you WILL be let go eventually.
If you can't perform at their pace you will not succeed.

    Advice to Management

You need to really take more care of your employees. After all who do you think makes the real company?
