Good money, never home. Ever.

ProsGood crews to work with
Plenty of work
Decent pay, Benefits are "OK" but not outstanding
401k match, pension if you stay a long time

ConsAlways a hassle to get home for my National Guard duties
Rarely told where/when I am going more than the day before
Can never plan things to do with wife and kids
Lack of schedule makes visitation with children from previous marriage a super huge battle with the ex
Safety is often given lip service with respect for time to sleep

Advice to Senior ManagementMore proactive management on scheduling projects, and less fire-fighting the day before it is due to start.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
