    Pros

World Class benefits (as of 2013); one of the very few companies still offering a pension as well as matching 401K.

    Cons

Too much of a good o' boy culture, middle management still living in the past. Corporately policy talks about diversity but in practice, in its southern shop operations at least, racism is alive and well to the extent that it is even openly discussed by supervisors - disgusting. Job training is purely rudimentary just enough to do the job. Work-life balance is a joke; 50 hour minimum. Employees must depend on overtime in order to make ends meet.

    Advice to Management

Be more progressive. Provide management training. Truly embrace diversity and teach diversity to your managers and supervisors. Get rid of the Good o' boy atmosphere. You are missing out on truly good workers that should be promoted instead of the Good o' boy idiots that gets promoted instead. Allow vacation balance carry-over; join the 21st Century. Boost base pay and improve Work-life Balance.
