    Pros

Stable environment in completions, cannot speak for other divisions. Good benefits.

    Cons

Have to know someone to move up, people get promoted when they are not ready to take on a bigger role. To many changes, to often, management always changing and reinventing what the last manager in place tried to do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stay the course and reduce the frequency of management changes

I have been working at Baker Hughes as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Baker Hughes Inc. was organized when initiating and setting up internship positions. Furthermore, the staff was friendly and inviting. Also, the organization was flexible with work hours and time off if needed.

    Cons

As an instructional design project manager, you must work with several SME in order to complete projects. Often, much time was spent waiting for SME to respond to emails or messages such that there was many lulls in the day. Also, Baker Hughes works with other consulting companies that can be a barrier when attempting to complete projects.
