Tremendous benefits and earning potential. You'll get out of Baker what you put in. Work, learn, exceed expectations and the personal and professional benefits will be there.

Work/home balance is very difficult to manage.

Advice to Management

    Pros

New technology is evaluated and implemented when fit to put in the environment. Great mentors within the IT Organization along with the majority of having great attitudes. Team oriented and goal driven (yearly).

    Cons

As of late the IT organization seems to have to much on their plate with yearly goals, breakthrough goals and just day to day activity. Leadership is shoving to much down it's employees throats and we can't breath. Outsourcing IT jobs without proper hand off as well as no thought of how the company will react. Doesn't seem to do exit interviews when an employee leaves the company on his or her terms. Leadership makes decisions without consulting team members that have been working at the company several years.

    Advice to Management

Get back to what was working and reconsider if outsourcing jobs was a great investment. You're losing great people and talent due to poor leadership at the highest level. Change the culture back to when it was an inviting atmosphere and fun to work for BHI.

    Pros

Good pay for an intern. Other then that, nothing else that really sets it apart from the average company.

    Cons

Co-workers are hard to work with. Company not willing to upgrade and use better tools. Lack of innovation and motivation in employees.

    Advice to Management

Be more willing to take risks and use better tools in the market.
