I have been working at Ballenger Construction

Pros

Minimal supervision, competitive salaries if you're in the "in" , exposure to many facets of the construction process, get to meet/work with different people

Cons

lack of policies and procedures, long hours, once you prove you can handle huge workload they give you more and more. Minimal benefits, no 401k, no paid vacation or sick days. Enormous salary discrepancies and extra benefits for similar positions. No yearly evaluations/raises

I have been working at Ballenger Construction

    Pros

The pay is good if you can put up with the EXECUTIVES. There is plenty of work at this company but they OVERLOAD so many employees its difficult to not let something fall through the cracks.

    Cons

No time off, no affordable benefits for the whole family, no vacation or sick days, no 401k, no pay scale, no awards for the years of service and having to put up with the executives. The executives are abrasive, abrupt and abusive.
