    I worked at Banana Republic

    Pros

    - Great discounts (including The Gap and Old Navy)
    - Decent salary
    - Flexible schedule
    - Management was very understanding, friendly, and treated employees with respect.
    - Very happy atmosphere.

    Cons

    - On-call scheduling. They would cheat with this. I asked to only work 15-20 hours (I was a student at the time), and they would schedule me 20 hours of regular shifts, and then an extra 5-10 hours of on-call ones.
    - Despite how I mentioned the happy atmosphere, you can feel that there were some employees who were there only to make their sales and cut you if you get in their way.
    - As someone who was at sales support, despite that the customer would ask for our help, if we made too many sales (and therefore, didn't give a chance to the sales associates), we'd get reprimanded.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Review and get rid of on-call schedules, and encourage working as a team than just trying to reach your sales goals.
