    Cons

Working at the "field" level (in stores) tends to have a very erratic work schedule. [Retail]

I worked at Banana Republic part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Short shifts
    Cool co workers
    Laid back environment

    Cons

Crappy managers who would stay in their offices all day while we busted our butts on the sales floor
There were also your typical slackers who would get away with murder, but because they were friends with the boss they would not get written up.
They REQUIRE open availability like most retailers so be prepared to not have any flexible in your life outside of Banana Republic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Now that everyone on the sales floor is underneath one job title (Sales Associate), It makes it hard to get everything done properly. Most employees are burned out or they chose to leave the company just like I did back in 2011 before the big change. Open your eyes and look at you high turnover rate. It's that way for a reason.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
