I have been working at Banana Republic

    Pros

I just got hired so I don't have many bad things to say, although I will note that as a seasonal hire they haven't really made me feel like the job is totally stable seeing as we don't even know when we'll finish our training. Also, they hired WAY too many of us.

    Cons

I heard that you barely get hours if you're part time/seasonal. Also, seeing as they're probably going to be hiring more seasonal I'm unsure if I'll even get any hours. I'm worried about this job because it seems like I have to memorize a ton and might get no hours. Also, the interview was way too easy and it seemed like anyone could've gotten the job. The mgr didn't even look at my resume at all and had no clue about anything about me. That's not good managerial skills.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your managers know about a prospective employee before interviewing them, also cap the number of seasonal associates to about 10. Having 20-30 seasonals plus regular part timer and full timers is TOO much and makes for less hours for everyone.
