You will be much better off if you don't ask any questions about policies and just accept whatever you are told.

    Pros

Bank of America has locations all over the country so if your job isn't eliminated there might be an opportunity to transfer to another location.

    Cons

They don't care about their employees and if you are able to get promoted it's based on tenure only and not job performance. It is also hard to get HR to explain different policies because different Lines of Business have their own policies. Therefore there is not like a company standard and therefore the individual managers can get away with making their own individual rules.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They should execute an open door policy. If there is a problem with an employee it should be addresses immediately while it is still fresh and not later when the details are a blur.

I have been working at Bank of America

    Pros

Working with people and being in an entry level management position in a bank can be very nice. The training, although a bit much at times, is very well prepared, and they ensure that continuous training occurs.

    Cons

The management structure does not allow for an equal distribution of the work load. Every time you override something, there is a possibility that you will loose your job because of it. You constantly live in fear of loosing your job even if you are a motivated hard working employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not expect entry level management to sign off on things that they are not comfortable with, and then get upset with them for signing off on too many things.
