Pros

Individuals at Bank of America were extremely team oriented and always looked out for each other. There was a huge push for putting the client first.

Cons

Individuals would attempt to give clients everything at the expense of firm instead of focuses on their ultimate objective which was to provide realistic retirement advice.

    Big company with a lot of resources and affiliate institutions. Brand recognitioin

    Cons

    Big company, lower and mid level employees get lost in the shuffle. Top down management assures that anytime a new division head comes in, strategic direction is changed. Lower level employees' opinions don't matter despite what HR says

    Listen to the people on the front lines who can make you more successful and more personable as a corporation

    great vacation time, excellent benefits, consistent feedback about your performance and ways to improve your performance, can learn a lot about the business quickly, but will get pigeon-holed into roles

    Cons

    lower compensation than competitiors, limited opportunities for advancement, performance reviews vary by manager, and can be quite unfair or biased, lack of recognition for performance
