I have been working at Bank of America full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Good salary and benefits, work from home capabilites

Cons

laid off many workers so be expected to do more with less, work life balance is not there in some areas of technology.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

dont take advantage of the economy to scare folks, they will leave for better employers even if it means a paycut.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great pay, opportunities to move around within the large organization.

    Cons

Employees are highly expendable with re-structures and downsizing. Planned 30,000-40,000 reduction in force while running adds about community support and responsibility.

Current Employee - Banking Center Assistant Manager in San Francisco, CA

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Benefits and Paid Time off. Paid Holidays off, paid sick days, paid personal days, and Paid vacation. Need I say more? Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K plans are solid as well. Definitely looks nice (or not depending on how you choose to dress while working) as the company does not have its own uniforms as other retailers do.

    Cons

Turnover. If you check the company careers page in CA alone, several jobs open up on a daily basis. Associates constantly come and go. There simply is not a branch in my market that has had the same Manager and AM for the past year. Due to this many managers are placed into positions that they are not prepared for. Pay is also low for the Assistant Manager position considering the AM is co-managing the branch.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more in the branches. Payroll is low to the point where it is difficult to deliver at a high-level on a consistent basis. Often times, branches are fore-casted to have two tellers are on the line which simply is not adequate considering the volume.
