The only reasons you would be denied from applying to other positions within the bank are either A) because your under some kind of written warnings or B) Because you are not meeting your goals. Otherwise mangment cant stop you from applying to other positions.

Not true... the reason for not being to apply for another position is because you were transferred to another department (not by your choice) and/or on a special project handed to you (also not by your choice). Ask the people of RAU, 1st Mortgage processing, 1st Mortgage Underwriting, and Pre-collection. Also ask associates from Home Equity Underwriting. They were so understaff due to forcing associates to transfer to another department, the Idiot Site Leader (CP) placed a freeze for his associates to be able to apply for another position. And for you information, I'm not on a written, verbal, or any other warning. I'm a top producer and receive top tier incentive.
