I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good day to day challenging and rewarding positions. Skills acquired are very transferable.

    Cons

Continual cost cutting leads to more and more positions being sent offshore. This creates a somewhat hostile work environment for staff and management.

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Benefits are nice. 401k matching, 12 weeks paternity leave, vaca time, and casual dress. Can get overtime pay. Dont have to put in long hours.

    Cons

Once you're in a department, hard to move up. Have to move around. There are a few exceptions of course. But, most managers / team leads stay in their positions for years and years so there is no where for you to go.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

work with your employees. and upper management -- hire Good managers! BOA has had some of the worst managers I've ever seen. Managers are usually the ones that are single, no social life, and are "married to their job" ... Maybe hire someone that gets along with their team ??
