Great intentions... terrible execution.

Personal Banker (Current Employee)
Baltimore, MD

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

ProsGood$240 child care reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, medical and dental.

ConsConstant change... One week you work late on Monday then due to market changes you now have to come in extremely early on Saturday. Which is not hard to deal with but the constant changes make it hard to have good work life balance.

Promotions are dependent on how much you kiss up to higher ups...this is normal but at Bank of America it is extreme.

You have great benefits but if you use sick days, Maternity or paternity leave you are treated as if they want to say how dear you.

High stress. If you do not open accounts you will be chewed out and made to write an action plan when the real problem is lack of good products.
