    Pros

None - ever since the downsize has occurred its all about them, never about the banking centers

    Cons

no work/life balance. Goals are out of touch with reality, cannot get promoted even when your at 125% of your goals, no training/coaching

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring back a solid traianing program. Bring back trainers who used to do the jobs in the banking centers, Shoulder to shoulder training with someone other then the manager

    Pros

Large structure. They have a process for everything. Easy to be successful if you follow process. Have opportunity to network through volunteer opportunities. Is the best way to learn other lines of business. Seen a lot of people leave and try to come back. Not always better on the other side. I have also seen people get fired from Bac for various reasons and go on to success at other large banks. Don't understand how they were hired but other banks must not check.

    Cons

Don't seem to keep top talent. Pay is good but not great. Not the highest not the lowest. If you are a rock star you will fill underpaid. If you are average you will feel it is good. Under performers seem to last longer than at other firms. Consumer banking is a hard life but a decent career path.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wish under performers would be coached up or out faster. . Hate to see people with no work ethic rewarded. Don't think it is a good idea to raise the goals of the top performers and lower the goals of the bottom performers. The next year they look better and then the top performer has to do 30 - 40% more just to stay at 100%. Wouldn't bother me so much except those under performers get treated like rock stars when they didn't do anything but have their goals lowered. Raise or lower everyone's goals equally and if they can't hit the target be a better coach or find someone else to run the bank better. Problem is their managers are rated on how many banks make goal so they are incentivized to help the lower performers look good even if it is just on paper and not actual performance or improvement.
