Pros

Growth and learning opportunities at Bank of America are practically unlimited. Especially if you are open to relocating the breadth of management opportunities are great.

Cons

While Bank of America's size can be a great positive; it can also be a large negative. The bureaucracy of such a large organization can tend to stifle creativity.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get back to the feeling of empowerment associates had in the NCNB and NationsBank days.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Web-based training, employee networks, there are plenty of resources available that enable an employee to grow their knowledge base and professional networks. Mentoring programs are available, and communication between employees and supervisors is encouraged. Employees are encouraged to plan their own development, with guidance from their managers.

    Cons

It's a large company, and it may be hard to find the right resources easily. New BAC makes it tough to find new opportunities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to your employee satisfaction surveys, please. Morale makes a huge difference in performance, and New BAC is still causing ripples in the pond.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO
