Negative Outlook
Approves of CEO

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Flexible, decent work life balance, competitive starting salary.

Cons

300k+ employees makes it extremely difficult to further your career/salary, and makes cuts inevitable at any time, even during a good economy. Very contractor heavy, so most of the cool software work is outsourced/offshored.

Advice to Management

Reduce the workforce, duplication of applications, and focus on doing core tasks well.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some of the best benefits ever such as baby sitter refund up to 250 per child a month, paternity leave 3 months full pay, vacation 3 weeks (for me), sick time, discounts and many more to list.

    Cons

Extremely stressfull since company has reduce personnel and still want you to perform at a high expectation consistently.

    Advice to Management

If the vision is to grow the business than allow the managers to decide if more staff could benefit their center to meet their branches clientele. Moreover, have more specialist available in the centers to have that immediate assistance and 1on1 with our customers such as MLO, Business Specialist

    Pros

Depending on the department that you work in, your manager can be somewhat flexible and will encourage work/life balance.

    Cons

Lower than average salary. Company always has a mentality of doing more with less.
