Pros

laid back and supportive work environement, benefits are good (401K - 5% match, health, etc), opportunity to learn a lot about securities industry and how it works, good work life family balance for this role between it is an hourly position. Bonuses are nice $600-$4000 quarter depending on your performance. monthly team lunches (paid). volunteering is encouraged.

Cons

hard to get promotions within company outside of the investment call center, not very good feedback on performance reviews, top down management (no managing up).

Advice to ManagementAdvice

keep up the good work. try to put more emphasis on helping associates get to where they want to be, more support with career mapping

    -Excellent Benefits (vacation, 401k match etc...)
    -Work Flexibility (occasional work from home, ability to move to other cities and keep role)
    -Opportunities to work and grow in a variety of areas
    -Good people

    Cons

    -Pay is on the low end compared to industry peers in high cost of living areas
    -Frequent management turnover can create uncertainty that lowers productivity (this may be a factor in the industry in general)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Overall, leadership has done a solid job in navigating the current environment. Advice would be to focus on integration rather than continuing to acquire over the next five years at a minimum.

    Pros

    if you like to help people and enjoy sales work then its a great job to have but the salarie makes it hard to make a living.

    Cons

    because every dept. has sales goals they inadvertantly pit each other against each other and throw other depts under the bus so to speak.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    hire people with ehtics or create a dept that is not commisioned based to over see everyone so that all employees are trying to do the best thing for the customer instead of trying to pad their sales goals
