I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are fantastic! Every benefit you could imagine. From pet insurance to childcare reimbursement. You can also get a discount on smart cars and solar panels.

    Cons

Huge selling atmosphere. The focus is on selling products and deepening the relationship with every client. Yes the bank does have great products and services, but they really want a client to bank with them and only them.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Some of us get to work from from home. Tons of learning opportunities. Bank of America is a great name on your resume.

    Cons

Large organizations mean there is the possibility for you to get stuck in a small area of work that doesn't translate well to other companies. Lots of competition here and its easy to have your job eliminated.

    Advice to Management

Don't stay in one job for longer than 5yrs unless it's critical to the companies operation. Find a work/life balance that makes you happy. If you're not happy, karma will likely take your job from you, so be self-conscious and push yourself to find a new job when you start feeling "burnt out".
