    Pros

Big company that makes ALOT of money when not getting sued every 5 minutes.

    Cons

Company is based out of Charlotte and many lines of business are concentrated in certain locations like Credit Cards in DE (MBNA), banking in Charlotte, Investment Banking in NY (Merrill Lynch) and everything mortgage based in Plano (old countrywide)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to continually look for top performers and give them opportunities to expand / grow in different lines of business. They also need to look at which managers are hiring legacy employees that left and want to come back. This limits upside for longer- term employees.

    Pros

Because of its size Bank of America is a great place to learn many different areas of banking. At the site I worked in the people are fabulous.

    Cons

Typical corporate culture with many levels of management preventing the flow of new ideas and change. Stockholders and perception are more important then they should.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think things through more before decisions are made. Sometimes the Associates at the ground level know more then you may think and can add value where you may not think.
