I worked at Bank of America

    Pros

employee discounts, paid time off, salary, 401k, basically the benefits

    Cons

    -everything else
-one day they implement a policy and the next day it has changed, if you havent caught up or god forbid you're off when the changes occur and come back and mess up, you get written up

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure that who you employ as managers is really fit to do the job, you made a HUGE mistake and the fact that 7 employees resigned within a couple months time frame should be a huge red flag.

  2.

Bank of America purchased Countrywide and everything changed radically

I worked at Bank of America full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Organized, consistent company with large volumes. Opportunities exist within the areas of operation for certain types or for those with certain connections.

    Cons

Regular layoffs; high risk of layoff in mortgage loan servicing sector; senior leadership is not always fair and does not honestly communicate upcoming changes and layoffs in advance. People are not paid what they are worth and annual raises and bonuses are tightly capped.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest & straightforward about upcoming changes and sales of subsidiary companies (such as the Field Service Co. sale), and the impact such actions will have on associates. Offer larger annual bonus and increases to top performers.
