    Pros

Exposure to many areas in IT, including Project and Process Management, Solutions Engineering, Cross-functional teams, and a vast diversity of people, cultures and experience.

    Cons

In spite of the emphasis on teamwork, not everyone is a team player. Some of my teammates will assist without hesitation, while others contribute when it suits their needs.

Sometimes, quantity of work is used as a measuring stick instead of quality of work. Granted, you need to finish your tasks, but you should also account for the complexity of the tasks when measuring results.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Avoid micro-managing if at all possible.
