I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Full medical, dental, vision, and 401k after 30 consecutive days of employment. Bank holidays and Sunday's off. Collaborative work environment where everyone works hard together. A safe environment as Free as possible from risk to personal safety.

    Cons

Very difficult to call in sick or take an unplanned leave of absence. Sometimes low coverage during certain times of year. Tellers must stand for shifts unless medically excused.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Collaborate with other managers to bring in coverage if people call in. Otherwise, an amazing company!

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Most people are respectful and courteous. Collaboration does occur. Recognition of your efforts occur.

    Cons

Although the culture has started to shift towards recognizing employees for their work efforts, it's still not effective as the recognition is not coupled with appropriate compensation. The proverbial "pat on the back" is basically what one gets for their efforts. Training/skill development appears to be lacking. There's a heavy reliance on "E-Learning". I don't see as much investment in the employees as compared to other firms.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Invest more in the skills and satisfaction of your employees to retain top talent. E-Learning is not enough, especially when not many people appear to be using it when there appears to be a status quo not to use it as it takes time from more "crucial" work.
    - Advertise more about internal mobility
