I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Get to work with multiple teams on any change delivery.

Cons

Small changes can take lot of effort to be delivered. Do not get to work on the cutting edge of technology.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, friendly teammates, good work-from-home opportunities

    Cons

The constant fear of being severed (shhh, did I say that?). Severances happen almost every quarter and to get the severance you are required to sign a non-disclosure.... so it almost never appears in the media. Entire groups get wiped out, so even w/ consistently high performance appraisals you can be cut. It was the number one thing people talked about.

    Advice to Management

Go back to roots and demonstrate to the people you actually care. Because we all believe you don't.

  2. Bank of America was very boring.

I worked at Bank of America as an intern

    Pros

You can work in the beautiful headquarters.

    Cons

The pay sucks, and the people are boring and unsociable.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the young employees for once in your life. They have good ideas too. Bring in young talent and keep them or they are just going to get their 5 years of experience and take their skills to another company.
