Pros

The Bank was very thrifty and cost conscious.

Cons

The thrifty, cost conscious resulted in fewer promotions, smaller salary increases year over year, and regular layoffs.

Advice to Management

Try to move associates around within the firm instead of handing out pink slips and deleting departments or subsidiaries.

    Pros

Layback. Nice conservative and well-meaningful people.

    Cons

Like many big corp, its all about reduction. People with innovative views can never work here, because the company is run by an old "thats just the way it is" mentality. Everyone is very rigid.

    Advice to Management

Push innovation. Promote transparency, but thats never going to happen.

  2. It was a good entry-level job, but not much room to grow, especially for contractors.

    Pros

Fast paced work enviroment, good training when hired.

    Cons

Not much room to grow, if you are a contractor you are treated as a second class employee.

    Advice to Management

Create more opportunities to grow with the company and more performance based rewards.
