    Pros

No late hours or taking your work home, because overtime is unacceptable.

Non-Stop training with constantly changing sales goals, competitions, and job performance requirements.

  2. Management is very shortsighted and there is no loyalty from corporate Bank of America.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The facilities at Newark, DE are very nice. The size of the organization allows alternate career paths and opportunities for promotion. Paid time off is about the same as it is for most large companies.

    Cons

Bank of America is quick to turn it's back on tenured employees. A person may get promoted several times and take on responsibilities in new areas. When the need for the new department is done the employees are simply laid off. These employees that have been great contributers to the organization and as such a valuable asset are not offered other positions. Loyalty seems to be a one way street. Additionally, working for Bank of America is strictly production centered. At lease at the mid-management level Ethical or not ethical, right or wrong the only thing that matters is hitting a number regardless of how it is achieved. As a result customer confidence in Bank of America continues to be the worst in the industry.
