I worked at Bank of America part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Pay was based on efficiency and accuracy, so I did fairly well in a menial position. I was impressed that I was also eligible for profit-sharing and full benefits, even as a part-time employee who often worked less than twenty hours a week.

    Cons

There aren't any where I currently live, otherwise I may still be working for them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management in my division stayed just as late as I did on weekends and holidays, which was a more than symbolic gesture.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Fair culture in my group of rewarding top performers. People expected a lot but also appreciated hard / high quality work. Better culture in Charlotte than NY.

    Cons

Work-life balance not great, though not any worse than other banks. Group organizational restructurings seemed to happen every few months

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be consistent with organizational structure
