I worked at Bank of America

Pros

competitive pay and benefits!

professional environment.

good team. (at least i had one)

Cons

meal breaks. generally BofA is consistent in giving standard breaks but sometimes they will not allow you to take your 30 minute (lunch) break and force you to work through your lunch. while you are paid, there has to be mutual consent and this was not the case. by the way, thirty minute (lunch) breaks after six hours of work is a legal requirement in CA.

little room for growth or development.

more recognition for job well done.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

promote open communication!

more professional development and opportunities to grow.

I have been working at Bank of America

    Pros

The core values that this companie strives to achieve are great. I just wish everyone was on the same page so that the company can accually achieve them.

    Cons

Success is based on the committment you put into a job. The thing is..... why would you commit to a job that wont commit to you. This company is all over the place. decreasing incentive constantly. hiring new employees constantly that probably lack any type of GED or diploma. Most trainers are just basic employees that are not on the same page...

The company holds meetings for employees opinions and says they will work on them. what they are really doing is just hearing what people have to say and making them feel like there is a reason to stay with Bank of America.

To keep it simple. decrease in incentive, pay is lower than other banks, working environment is like working in highschool and the lack of committment to what the company promises is always predictable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

commit to what you say you will do, increase the pay and get rid of people that are obviously not interested in their jobs!

I have been working at Bank of America

    Pros

The best reason to work at BOA is to receive a paycheck. The company also provide great benefits! And the hours are flexible.

    Cons

The downside of the job is doing the same thing everyday. I love a challenge but I know what to expect everyday,.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I don't like the fact that management shows favortism towards their employees. It doesn't matter how hard a person work if the manager don't have a relationship with you it;s hard to climb the corporate ladder.
