I worked at Bankers Life as a contractor (Less than a year)

Pros

Freedom to work the way that fits you best. Support in your growth as an agent from everyone there. Class room training is some of the best.

Cons

Field training was horrible. Very inconsistent from person to person.

Advice to Management

Put together a consistent field training program that is on par with the classroom training.

Be sure and give accolades to the new agents so they won't be discouraged about the rejection or the numerous nos you get.
