I worked at Bankers Life & Casualty

Pros

Set your own Schedule on field days

Cons

Lots of cold calling to poor qualitly leads

Many of the leads you call say they never requested any information from the company

Favortism and they claim you will be trained by a seasoned agent but in reality you wil be working mostly with an agent that has only been there for a few months longer than yourself

I have been working at Bankers Life & Casualty full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Unlimited upside for compensation and day sales opportunities. do not need to work at night

    Cons

Takes time to develop knowledge and revenue stream. Not for everyone

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get group health insurance for 1099 sales people. Contributing to costs is great but insurability is an issue otherwise

I worked at Bankers Life & Casualty full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great training. It was some of the best training I've ever had. The branch manager really cares about the agents.

    Cons

Cold calling. If you're not good at cold calling, you better get good at knocking on people's doors. There are no benefits or salary. Bonuses are very hard to get.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
