    I worked at Banner Health

    Pros

System is doing well with revenue growth and maximizing net income. Very good investment is made in to the purchase of new and replacement assets. The system's vision for growth is ambitious.

    Cons

Top to bottom communication lacks clarity and granular reasoning for decisions which affect employees, hourly staffing in particular. No raises in the past two years despite profitable operations does not make sense to many employees. Patient to nurse ratios is undefined and can be as high as 7:1.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

there is considerable discontent among employees. Increased salaries are not the main concern of staff , but the considerable disconnect between what is said and what is done very likely inhibits employee morale. Morale of staff is low. I'm surprised organized labor has not yet made its way in to the system.
