I worked at Baptist Health (Arkansas)

Pros

- Great people to work with
- Hands on experience in various IT areas
- IT isn't the main focus, so it's a fairly stress free environment

Cons

- It's not very structured
- There's a daily huddle that's pretty much a daily workflow interruption
- Sometimes you aren't consulted before projects are underway that directly affect you.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The huddle is a good idea. It's just too frequent.

    Pros

the people I work with and the wide range of experiences available

    Cons

I still make less as an RN than I did as an LPN and 3 years between raises
    supervisory turnover

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the people who are actually out on the floor working before implementing major changes or cutting staffing

I have been working at Baptist Health (Arkansas)

    Pros

Love the people i have and still do work with. They have good employees, very sweet and deticated
    to the patients and families.

    Cons

Upper management needs to be replaced with managers who care that they have such wonderful people working for them. If Baptist had better upper management it would be an awsome place to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To many miromanagers. Cost saving for budget started on the wrong end. Should have started at the top. To many vice presidents. What do they do? Increasing pay rasiese to meet cost of living would be greatly benifical to deciated employees, Stop giving hugh bonous to CEO's
