I have been working at Baptist Health Care

Pros

This health care system actually cares about not only it's empoyees but it's patients too. One of the better places to work in this area.

Cons

Accrual of PDOs could be better and the fact that we don't get compensated to work holidays is definitely a con.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Most other hospitals in the Panhandle pay at least time and a half to work holidays. People would volunteer if we were compensated.

I worked at Baptist Health Care

    Pros

Atmosphere is pleasant with a prevalent attitude emphasizing the importance of team work and family. Fulfillment each and every time you make a patient laugh or feel more comfortable.

    Cons

    Salary is not very competitive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Always be open and honest with employees about salary possibilities. If you offer any sort of raise in compensation, then work hard to make sure it comes to fruition.
