I have been working at Barclays Bank
Pros – Flexible working hours
30 days holiday
Cons – Utterly incompetent leadership
Absolutely no moral courage what so ever
Promotions and reward have nothing to do with hard work, but everything to do with cliques
Barclays will either break you, or institutionalise you. Be warned, be prepared - do not join!
Advice to Senior Management – Hire in some talent. Keep your eyes open to incompetance, and be prepared to dig deep and find some moral courage.
Agree, and stick to a plan - then make sure that the plan makes sense for all levels of the organisation,
