I worked at Barclays Capital full-time for more than a year

Pros – Nice work-life balance. Mid-level managers seem to be genuinely concerned with junior staff. Good cafeteria and in general the carpets are clean and the staff is friendly.

Cons – There is less than ideal deal flow at the junior level so you may have trouble switching to a buy side role if that's something that interests you.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
