    Pros

    1. Work life balance is more possible to manage than in IB. 2. Industry salaries but on a higher than industry level. 3. Not a competitive environement between colleagues and relatively good job safety.

    Cons

    1. Very process driven and buraucratic organisation. 2. Career progression is not structured. 3. Very stong UK culture - if you are a foreigner that might considerably slow down your possibility to grow and be promoted. 4. Limited career opportunties

  2. I use "Barclay" as my "bench-marking" when i look for jobs.

    Pros

Learning aspects Internal and external environment Subordinates and colleagues

    Cons

Its drastic measures only considering their profits, Employee retention policy is weak

    Advice to Management

Try to keep upto your promises, when you suggested you would assist the employee after the sudden shutting down on Indian retail business, instead of filling their mouths with compensations you should have provided them with a job yet again in other departments and ventures.
