I have been working at Barnes & Noble part-time

    Pros

The employees are friendly and genuinely good people. Their hiring policies and dress code policies are great. They truly believe in equality of employment. Even if I'm in a bad mood going in to work my coworkers and the friendly customers can usually cheer me up and turn the shift around. The employee discounts are also great, especially in the cafe.

    Cons

Gets pretty stressful and busy at times, but what retail job doesn't? The amount of times I get really stressed out are still far outweighed by the shifts I really enjoy.
