Bath & Body Works – “If you're young and willing to live paycheck to paycheck for a few years, then work for Bath & Body Works.”
1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
Bath & Body Works offers many great reasons for working there. Most of the workers are really friendly and care for each other. The schedule is pretty flexible. I was a full time co-manager there and I was still able to balance my personal and professional life. Other reasons include better pay than most retailers and a great benefits package.
Cons
They say that transferring between stores is easy, but it really depends on if the store you want to go to has any openings. Since they have fewer managers than some other stores, transferring can be a problem. Also, moving up with the company is a long process. You have to work for several years in each position before you're considered for a promotion.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't always promote by seniority. Just because someone has been in a position for a longer time, does not make them more qualified than someone with less experience. If you overlook these people who works harder, you'll lose them and then you'll have to spend more time looking for their replacement.
