Great place to start off for experience as an entry level

Engineer I (Current Employee) Glendale, CA

Proschance to build up experience really fast for entry level
Fortune 500 name recognition
Friendly people
flexible time for salaried employee

Consoverqualified but underpaid
little upper management recognition
high turnover rate

Advice to Senior ManagementHR need to see why the turnover rate is so high (pay on wrong end of the pay scale, poor benefits vs other pharmaceuticals). Organize team-building activities instead of having Sr managers and directors just sit in their offices all day.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

A Strange Culture of High Politics and Self Preservation

Senior Project Manager (Current Employee) Round Lake, IL

I have been working at Baxter full-time for more than 8 years

Pros: Front line teams and first line management are knowledgeable and capable. The clear mandate to help sustain and make life better for our patients… Cons: It is frustrating that posturing and politics are foremost in middle to upper management in this survivalist culture. If you like to "get things… Advice to Senior Management: "Baxter makes too much money", is a phase told me by a Vice President.
