I have been working at Baxter full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Large company that allows/encourages movement.
Opportunity for travel (if you desire).

Cons

Managers will tell you that family is important, but that's never the case. I was told that should the FDA show up for an audit (my wife was due to give birth to our first child), I would be expected to come in to manage the audit.

They withhold raises for as long as possible. Performance reviews are a joke.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Support your top performers. Support their families. Stop putting results before people.

I worked at Baxter full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Lots of options. Baxter is a big company so there's plenty of opportunities

    Cons

Big companies have too many bureaucratic policies/procedures.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Someone at a higher pay grade does not necessarily mean that they should have more authority to make decisions against various functions. Baxter needs to eliminate condescending and rude leaders.
