Big corporation politic in a start up work enviroment

Senior Quality Engineer (Former Employee)
Hayward, CA

I worked at Baxter full-time for more than 5 years

ProsGreat people, and... that's about it

ConsDis-functional senior leadership team that is disconnected from reality and does not get the full picture of how the plant truly functions. Senior leadership team asks more question and provide implied criticism then provide mentorship. Plant manager drives a culture that believes everyone is replaceable. QMR promotes micromanaging culture. Veteran employees have developed an attitude that holds nothing accountable, which seems to be a necessary survival skill. Minimal employee appreciation, typical 'reward hard and good work with more work' attitude

Advice to Senior ManagementStop questioning and criticizing, do more mentoring and consulting

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
