I worked at Bayhealth Medical Center full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Some nice people work there

    Cons

Will dump you in a heartbeat for no good reason other than someone doesn't like you. Job performance, punctuality, no overtime mean nothing to bosses if someone has it out for you. They will keep people that have cheated on amount of time worked, that hide out to get out of work and have had pt complaints, as long as management likes you. Lots of double standards. Don't age, get sick, or stay too many years because those will be reasons to dump you. Nursing is NOT valued by upper management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Next time you want to put more job description requirements on nursing try doing the job yourself. Remember that without nursing YOU wouldn't have a job.
