I have been working at Baylor University as an intern (more than an year)

Pros

All my bosses have been incredibly willing to talk to me and always make sure I put school first. Sometimes that meant working 4 hours a week, instead of 12.

Cons

Because I am a student, the hourly pay was relatively low. However, it looks good on a resume.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Baylor University part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Work study jobs were great professional development to accompany education. Everything was really flexible to work around the student schedule.

    Cons

Many work study jobs are minimum wage, and with scheduling sometimes hours would be low. Other than that it was great.

I have been working at Baylor University full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

People are generally honest. There is a lot of opportunity if one just goes out and finds it.

    Cons

It is a religious institution. The chapel is VERY VERY cult-like.
