    Pros

good work life balance. very friendly atmosphere. everyone is willing to help and are approachable. value safety and quality

    Cons

limited opportunity. very old way to thinking. upper management isn't always as organized as they should be. you might get a amazing supervisor or very crappy one depending on the department and project you get placed into.

I worked at Bechtel full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You meet amazing people from all over the world!!! Also the atmosphere is a good atmosphere. The pay is higher than most competitors. Their Bech U is a great learning tool and you should use it, if offered the opportunity. This job was a great learning experience for me.

    Cons

Sometimes you will work tons of hours and at busy times the job becomes your life. Also in some cases a few employees will talk about you behind your back, but I think that is typically in most work environments. You just need to go to work with your head held high and know your worth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Know which employees are worth keeping around. Also maybe promote individuals with the right skills not how long one has been employed by you, sometimes people can be at a company for many years and they may have not really learned anything along their journey!
