Cons

Low pay Would get attitude from upper level staff sometimes Very lax return policy (I saw an elderly couple come in with a used toaster. They had the receipt from 1994. They got a brand new toaster)

Advice to Management

    Pros

nice collegues....good stuff, a few kind customers.

    Cons

employees are treated like thieves and slaves, they are not respected at all, instead,as a employees, you must kiss customers ass all the time. employees are checked frequently by the manager and the BBB has very high requirements from employees, but they treat you like a garbage, like nothing. The computers are outdated, and the offices are pretty dirty and dusty. And the salary is low, so you better work at '99 cents store with the same salary and without so many expectations and all the time under loop. They don't give you any benefits, no medical insurance, no nothing. And they hire JUST part time, without any benefits. Full time and benefits are JUST FOR MANAGERS! (i mean for the "master")

    Advice to Management

start to treat the employees like people, and respect them. They work for you and bring you money, so without employees, you have no money, so why you treat them like slaves and with so much disrespect?????????????????

    Pros

-Management usually willing to allow competent employees more responsibility -Flexible Hours -Transfer between stores easy and possible -Good training system -Enough departments and jobs that people are generally moved to where there strengths might lay

    Cons

-Very little opportunity for upward movement or promotion -ONLY managers work full-time, virtually no one is hired as more than part-time now, meaning that no one is eligible for benefits/health insurance
