Advice to Management

Reboot and start over...you went bankrupt for a reason, now i see why...

I have been working at Beechcraft full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome products, fast paced work environment, one of the safest aircraft companies to work for, very cool place to work, great benefits and a great place to develop your career.

    Cons

There has been a lot of turnover in upper management, the pay is not one of the higher in the industry (although it will probably increase a little when the company gets back on its feet and the economy turns around).

I worked at Beechcraft full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If you are very young, just out of school and trying to get some job experience for a resume' HBC will definitely give you an experience in how a company tries to hang on

    Cons

It is a very stressful and demoralizing environment. Salary benefits have be stripped to nothing Expected to work long hours. All the hours over 40 are not to be put on your time card and you will not receive pay for them if you are salaried It is expected that you not only do your job, but take on all the task of employee being laid off. A failing company with no security for the future. A work force that has given up and is just waiting for their last pay check Total disregard for employees. Employee that have given the better part of their lives have had their pensions defaulted on while the current Senior leadership enjoys huge salaries and feel they are entitled to millions of dollars in bonuses, incentives, or retention pay No longer wireceiverecieve a percentage or full benefits of your pension from ages 58-62, now you will have to work until you are 65 to receive a portion of your earned pension. Those curemployedployeed will have any additional time and money earned for pension stopped in Dec. Sadly Saddly anyone with any time and know how the company used to be will have a very difficult time finding pros.

    Advice to Management

The current leadership is focused on hanging on long enough to get every dime out of the company before they jump ship. It is a very stressful and demoralizing environment. They have replaced all of the leadership that was very familiar with how to direct a company through down turns, with leadership that will tell you they are in for the long haul, but their actions speak volumes about where their focus is. Raytheon was the beginning of the down fall of a once great company to work for, and the current leadership has made very bad decision that they continue to blame on the economy. Those who have been around the industry for years knows the senior leadership is to blame. Stop rapping the company and take ownership of what you have done and the horrible mistakes that you have made.
