Approves of CEO

Pros

-great experience > if you show a "can do" attitude there are tons of projects you can stick your hand into -not a bureacratic environment -you can hone your skills at Bell and get a higher paying job elsewhere with the wealth of experience that you have gained (you can't put a price on that)

Cons

-avereage pay but you can probably make more at other telecoms -promotional opportunities are dependent on who your manager is as per any job

Advice to Management

-need to focus on winning customers back to Bell Mobility and making it the #1 wireless carrier again -need to stop the brain drain over to Rogers by perhaps paying more - and when employees do attempt to switch incenting them to stay with Bell

    Pros

the staff are some of the best reporters in this country and through the years of continuous cuts, they still provide the best local, national and international news in canada.

    Cons

The cut backs are affecting the ability to provide quality coverage abroad...the few foreign correspondents left are great but more national, international and local staff (in small markets) are needed to provide more quality coverage over quantity.

    Advice to Management

stop cutting news, time to start cutting toronto staff and foreign programming!

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The people who work at Bell are very passionate about making the customer experience a good one. To the best of their ability and with the tools they are given, they want to do a great job. Employee benefits are second to none in the marketplace.

    Cons

You can drown in processes which are either outdated or not well thought out. More and more outsourcing of functions is going to vendors on shore or off shore. This dimishes the internal talent pool and leaves very few experienced employees.

    Advice to Management

Give back to employees the ability to make decisions without having to have it vetted with varying levels of senior management. It wastes time and talent.
