Pros

If you work in the Mississauga campus then you don't need to pay for parking.

Cons

Management Salaries are lower than competitors and there are no salary increases without a promotion. The companies drive to satisfy the financial analysts comes at the cost of employees bonuses and salaries. Employees are told to exceed objectives for several years to earn a promotion. Common approach is to determine the desire of the employee and use that to motivate the employee with promises that are never fulfilled. Due to the wide abuse of favouritism the company is managed by inexperienced teams, which leads to conflicts and chaotic project management. This causes a low degree of integrity among working teams and leaders as they are motivated to meet their objectives. Friendship is the best way to be promoted at Bell Mobility. Graduate degrees are not recognized as a consideration for management advancement. Dislike the way the company treats clients whether they are new or existing and many employees complain about this but the companies leaders are only focused on cost cutting and stock dividends.

Advice to Management

Bell Mobility needs a Human Resources group that has authority. There are so many abuses by managers and executives that the talented employees have all resigned. Bell Mobility is ripe to be sued by an employee.

    Pros

Good compensation Easy work, flexible hours, work from home. Strong brand on CV

    Cons

Terrible working culture. Heavy politics, promotion is done by friendship but not by performance, and so does laid off. Never receive your workplan, just do whatever you were told. Employee survey results are not confidential, and manager will use it to blame reports who gave the low rate. There are many good people to work with, but in general people are awful. if you are bright, hard working and honest, you will be very very frustrated. People blame your mistakes when you done wrong and scramble to take your credit when you done right. Speaking the truth may terminate your career, as people will report every word they heard from you to your manager. Too many best talent left the firm, especially young people. Incompentent senior leadership. They lack of the capability to listen to customers and fulfill their needs, nor do they deal with employee honestly. Little career development opportunities. no training at all. no feedback. Internal move around is very difficult.

    Advice to Management

Replace the director to VP level senior management or at least rotate them across divisions periodically.
