Pros

Bell is a small company in the aerospace world and appears to have less of the entrenched bureaucracy of the larger aerospace companies.

Cons

Many of the facilities, methods, and procedures are showing their age. To Bell's credit, some changes and updates are currently under way.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to review and update engineering and manufacturing methods/procedures to ensure their applicability to modern material systems and manufacturing methods.

    Pros

    Good Communication. Company is on the way up in the commercial Helicopter sector. Good benifits and compensation

    Cons

    to much red tape - have to bverify that you have worked every week, for example, computer cuts off after 15 minutes for security, etc

    I worked at Bell Helicopter

    Pros

    Fair wage for fair efforts without the equalization of performance and compensation.
    The assignments are varied in nature that creates a diverse environment.

    Cons

    The company appears to be age bias in that youth is advantages in advancement and the long term retirement goals of todays company is avoided.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take advantage of the resource that the older workforce brings to the table and provide mentorship to younger employees and allow the older workforce to finish a career rather that relying on the training ground approach for the younger employees.
